Antelope Canyon

While we were hanging out in Prescott, we decided to see Antelope Canyon. It's on the reservation and run by the Navajo tribe. You can see the upper canyon or the lower canyon. We chose the lower canyon, and it was awesome.

The women and children used to hide in the lower canyon when the US came in to gather them for the schools. It's just one of the ways they managed to preserve their heritage. We thought it was awesome. The canyon makes for some excellent abstract photos. I really wish I understood more about taking pictures! Here are a few of my favorites.
